Prognosis

We’re into this a week now and I’m sure many of you would like to know the prognosis.

Let me put things into perspective with Webster’s definition of “prognosis”:

Pronunciation: \präg-nō-səs\
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural prog·no·ses
Etymology:Late Latin, from Greek prognōsis, literally, foreknowledge, from rogignōskein to know before, from pro- + gignōskein to
Date:1655

1 : the prospect of recovery as anticipated from the usual course of disease or peculiarities of the case
2 : forecast, prognostication

I’m trying to get smart quickly about cancer. Here’s what I learned with certainty; every person is unique, so every case is unique.

At this point only God knows the “peculiarities” of Betsy’s case and what He has in store for how things will proceed.

Keep us all in your prayers.

The Power of the Rosary

If everyone who reads the blog would join in with this prayer chain, it would be extremely powerful. I propose that every evening we pray the Rosary together beginning around 8:30 pm.

Thank you and God bless,
Teen

Dear Teenmike,
Can't guarantee the 8:30 pm (time difference, you know),
but CAN guarantee those prayers! You have a powerful suggestion here, and you know what it takes....
Best wishes to Betsy!

Can't write long--on the way to Mass with one main person to pray for!!! Just want to say, we are with you through it all and I agree with Loretta--hair today, gone tomorrow! It is a relative thing in this fight! Hope to hear you are home soon. Will be sending your card to home in anticipation.
