Trying to keep things even, waiting for procedures and dates; I guess I have to be willing to go with a step back occassionally. As I mentioned, I have been retaining some fluids, but so far the lasix seems to be keeping it to a reasonable amount. My port insertion has been changed to this coming Monday morning, so we are gaining 5 days time there which I am happy about.
Also, been trying to do little things around the house, like unload the dishwasher, etc. I even put a casserole into the oven today, trying to help Tom with dinner. I have to hand it to him for not killing me today, as the whole pan ended up on the floor because I didn't keep it even pulling it out of the oven! Not a big help! What a mess! Tom said very little, but cleaned up my mess. He is a special person, and I am lucky to have him. He makes my days better everyday!
Love hearing from all of you. Till next time :-) Bets

Betsy,
Sorry to hear about the casserole, Glad to hear that you're feeling alittle better and Ginger too. I think the Jamie haircut is fabulous and can only bring even more attention to your green eyes. I read your blog every day. Prayers are continuing.

Hi Betsy!
Oh well about the casserole! And Tom is a gem, and he loves you very much, I can tell. I am glad Ginger is feeling better. She is no different than the rest of us slowly aging females that are beginning to notice every ache and pain. I am turning into my mother against my will! Continue to take things slow, one day at a time, one task at a time. Take pleasure in accomplishing small things. And don't forget to look out the window at the beautiful blue sky, golden sunshine and beautiful flowers. We are all here for you!
Betsy,
The rosary was offered for your strength this am and to just have
a normal day.
PEACE
Hi fellow bloggers!
Talked to Betsy today and discovered she had made off to the eastern shore with the handsome men in her life for some well deserved R&R. She says the sunshine and beautiful weather are doing her a world of good. She says she'll write more when she gets back. Since I've given her up,neighbors please keep an eye on her house!Didn't want everyone worrying all weekend!

Heard you may go away this weekend to the shore....hope you do and have a great time. Mike and I are going to the lake house...looking forward to a change of scenery.
We continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Mike's family asks for you all the time and wishes you their best.
One more week and school will be out!!!!! I will be seeing you the beginning of July. Looking forward to our "girl time". Talk to you soon to confirm.
Love you, Teen
Even the mention of the word "crabsoup" (an unknown vocabulary word to most Coloradoans)makes me feel good all over....so I can only guess, Betsy, that you, too, must be getting a special spurt of energy from that Maryland concoction....best wishes to you...your spirit and positive thinking are motivating!
