Hi all!

I have been at home for the last 3 weeks, getting stronger and healthier every day. I spend my days reading, praying and baking, as my body tolerates. So far I have been able to totally avoid daytime TV!! I have also been avoiding going to places with lots of people as I am more susceptible to all kinds of germs, especially Swine Flu!

I will be going into the hospital again on Monday morning for the next (2nd of 4) treatment. I will probably be there through Friday.
Tom and the boys are doing well through all this and have been very supportive. Ginger and ZuZu have also been behaving. ZuZu has been enrolled in pet training class @ PetSmart and she seems to be catching on. I hope that her behavior continues to improve while I'm in for treatment this week.

I continue to ask for prayers for remission. I thank you for your support and encouragement. I will keep you posted as this treatment progresses. Till next time :-) Bets

Know you have probably had better days but hope all this is for the best ending ever. Murphs party was great, all the old timers came out , Dr Bures , Barry Kramer, Pallotta , Sal Leo , Tesauro who also has had better days, Scordino , Arlene Meyer, Betty Langhan people so far back I do not know them...She was thrilled...everyone sang happy birthday since it also was her 80th...Leo , Pallotta and Tesauro all sang to her and that was a riot...Tricia had her annual Halloween Party at the Salon on Sat so we all dressed up and went...it was also fun...Her friends are always amazed that we old people can keep up with them...Sal Leo was asking for you today and mentioned Teeny .. and your Dad...Prayers for you everyday...Hang in there...Love Retta and Bob

Hi Betsy,
Thinking of you this week getting your inpatient chemo. You certainly aren't missing any good weather- it's rained every day and traffic has been impossible! I bet the sun will come out just for you as you go home on Thursday or Friday. Love, Sarah

Sorry I didn't get over this week, but I've had a variety of things I did not want to share with you. I'll be thinking of you this week and praying too.
