Good Morning all!
Which would you like first the good news or the disappointing news? I'll give you the disappointment first, because it's not so terrible just a let down. Twice this past week I went to have my 5th chemo treatment done and twice I was sent home. My platelet counts were low, so the doctor didn't want to risk sending them lower by giving me chemo again. I am rescheduled for next Wednesday, and I hope that the counts are where they need to be. The closer I stick to the recommended schedule the more successful the treatment. Please continue to pray.
The good news is that my marker number continues to drop and is now 7! Prayers work! I appreciate all that are said for me daily.
Everything else is status quo... The kids are back in school and alls right with the world! Tom and I are planning a 5 day cruise for later in September and are looking forward to the rest and relaxation.

glad to hear from you- glad all are ok and you are feeling well except for the postponement of last weeks' chemo.maybe someone upstairs wanted you all to have a nice time at the eastern shore....there's a reason for everything.You'll have chemo for sure this week..you,re marker numbers are good !!! Glad Kevin is back to school and getting used to all..WOW it's his last year, that went fast.!!!My best to ALL - Love and prayers to you and yours. Love Margaret

I just wanted to let you know how much I think about you! I have visited your blog pretty often and kept up with your progress. You have so many terrific friends and such a great family! I am so glad to hear all the good news!

Glad to see the update....sounds like the treatment is working...thank God! You will enjoy the cruise...both of you need a vacation. Hope the weather cooperates....Gustov, Hanna, Ike, and Josephine should be long gone by then. Love to all, Teen
